Police are searching a river for the parents of a 13-year-old girl who was found alone on a boat in the Norfolk Broads.
The hired craft was found tied to a tree near Salhouse Little Broad on Saturday evening.
Officers have closed a mile-long section of the River Bure between Salhouse and Wroxham broads as they search the area.
The girl was found unharmed and spent the evening in protective custody.
Norfolk Police said they had a call at 17:00 BST on Saturday from a member of the public who was concerned that the hire boat had not been returned as arranged.
After it was found, the boat was returned to the Le Boat boatyard at Horning for examination by the police.
Officers closed the river in the early hours of Sunday in consultation with the Broads Authority and said it was likely to remain closed for most of the day as the search is carried out.
